My Review on Playskool Dance Cam
I have done some research on the Internet before buying one for my kids. Most of the reviews criticize the picture quality of this toy. But as my kids love to dance very much, I was willing to spend $50 and give them a try.
After playing the first time, I think the toy is not as bad as others say. It is a basic camera with background music and some graphics of characters dancing. It is fun for my kids to see themselves on the TV. They like following along with the dance moves, and I have fun dancing along with them.
The Playskool Dance Cam has three dance modes. One is called “Dance Along” and has 18 toddler favorites, each with a different “animation.” The second mode is Cool Moves and has four songs with characters that teach kids simple dance moves. The third mode is Freestyle and has no “animations.” We can plug in the camera to a CD player to play any music through our TV.
Overall, I think it is the best toy for children who enjoy dancing a lot, even though the picture quality is not very good. What we think is not as same as what children think. We expect good-quality picture. Our children may only expect to see themselves dancing on the TV. It is just simple and the toy gives them what they want. So I will definitely recommend you to have a try.
